-Writing-

Hey, I've now decided that I'll share my series I've been working one here! It's being turned into a graphic novel, and an animated series.

-Episode 1: In Plain Sight-
“I can’t believe he wants us to rewrite the entire thing,” Pepper said, walking next to her friend of two years, Jade. Jade and Pepper had been working on a project for this very unruly client named Jake Peterson. Although no one was allowed to call him by “Jake,” they had to call him Mr. Peterson.

“I know, who thinks that zombie movies are better than a haunting movie?!” Jade asked in frustration. “Our movie concept was a lot better than any zombie flick, I mean does anyone even watch those types of movies,”

"It just feels like cheating, and we don't have enough money to do the really good zombie movies either." Pepper added.

"It's just not fun, you know?" Jade said. Pepper nodded in agreement. She looked at her watch and frowned.

"Fifteen minutes late, Logan is going to kill me," she said. Jade looked away, frowning.

"So, you and Logan have been going out for a while, how's it going?" Jade asked Pepper.

Pepper gave a content sigh, "It's going very well. he's so dreamy," she said.

Jade had known Logan from high school, and didn't have the guts to ask him out. Now that her and Pepper were friends, she knew she was going to have to introduce them at some point. She watched, her heart splintering into a million pieces, as they got along and actually started to flirt with one another. And not long after that, they started to go out. Jade felt guilty for still liking Logan, but she was never going to tell anyone that fact.

The two girls walked into the set, closing the door behind them. They watched the crew busily working, they all looked so into what they were doing. Jade gave Pepper an uneasy look. Pepper gave her a sympathetic look in return. Jade took a deep breath and decided she was ready.

Getting in front of the crew she cleared her throat. The room did not go silent immediately, rather the crew were continuing to work. When Jade saw no response, she blew a whistle around her neck. The crew immediately looked over at her, and once they saw her immediately stopped what they were doing and focused all their attention on her.

"Good, now that I have all your attention." she started, looking at all their faces. She could see Logan and Pepper standing very close to each other, Logan's arm around her shoulder. She swallowed the lump that formed in her throat and cleared her throat to ensure it was mostly gone.

"I have received word from our client, Mr. Peterson, that the movie we are working on right now, is not meeting his standards."

Everyone turned to one another and whispered about what that meant. Jade raised her hand in the air, "That means, that we will have to write a new script and make an entirely new movie. So while a script is being written, I need you all to disassemble everything you've worked hard on," The crew started to ask a lot of questions. Jade couldn't understand anyone.

"This is bullshit," One guy, an actor named Chad said. Everyone seemed to agree and nodded, a few sayin "yeah," along with him.

"I understand how you all feel, but you have to remember, without Mr. Peterson this movie doesn't get made." Jade said. The crew seemed to understand and, while still grumbling, went to work.

Jade watched Pepper and Logan walk towards her. She didn't want to talk with them at the moment, and looked for anything to distract herself. Matt, the guy working the effects, was staring at her like he needed a question answered. Jade, unable to see anything else decided to walk towards Matt.

When she was next to Matt, his eyes widened and a cute blush crept over his face. She smiled at him.

"You looked like you had a question," she said.

"Uhm, y-yeah. I was just wondering what kind of movie we were making now, so I could tell what effects I could keep just in case."

"Oh, yeah. We're making a zombie movie now, so if you could start on the zombie prosthetics that would be great." she said, placing her hand on his shoulder. He blushed deeper, but smiled back.

Jade turned to look at where Pepper and Logan were, they just stared at her. Pepper had a knowing smile on her face, but Logan gave her a weird look. Almost like he didn't like Jade and Matt being that close to each other. Jade shook the feeling off and turned back to Matt.

"I'll be in my office if anyone needs me," at that she walked away, towards her office to schedule everything out.

That night, as she sat in her office, scheduling everything. She was so lost in thought, she didn't hear pepper knock, or her come inside. She was still lost in thought as Pepper walked up to her and tapped her shoulder. Jade jumped at the sensation, but upon seeing Pepper's face, her face relaxed.

"Sorry, Mr. Peterson wants to see us. I think it's about the script changes." Pepper said.

Jade looked up at her friend with a look of disgust. "Didn't we already talk to him last night?" she asked, putting her head on her desk.

Pepper gave a small giggle. "Yes, he did. But he wants to see us again." she answered.

Jade groaned, but lifted her head as she stood up. "I swear, I'm going to kill him one day," she said as they walked to the door. Pepper laughed, "Yeah, and I'll help hide the body."
