Sleep Paralysis

This is gonna sound so goddamn stupid but hear me out. Sleep paralysis is when you're half awake half asleep, and you're completely paralyzed. People can sometimes see creepy things known as "sleep paralysis demons". They could be hallucinations due to lack of sleep, they could be your mind just playing tricks on you from poor lighting. However, I have a theory. What if some people can cross over dimensions, worlds, timelines, or even alternate universes when they sleep? Or rather, when they sleep, a small bit of a different reality shifts into ours. This explains some paranormal experiences such as the "Dear David" from August of 2017. If you want to find more,ย here's the Twitter thread link. To sum it up, the "Dear David" story is a story about a man who found out his apartment was haunted by a little boy. (Whom which if I remember correctly, is about 7) This theory suggests that the "sleep paralysis demons" areย notย hallucinations nor are they the classic jacket over a chair we see in movies as kids. Just imagine that your childhood monster under your bed wasย real. Except these "monsters" are not under your bed, they're not figments of your imagination, but real-life demons. Real-life ghouls. Just think of how terrifying that would be, then think about how that's possible. Spooky. I'm sure there are other experiences like "Dear David" however I don't know of any. I've got no evidence to support this theory, it's just something I kinda thought of and wanted to share

Ive had sleep paralysis more times than I can count, usually occurring in week long period when Im not getting enough sleep or have been very anxious. I only saw a ยจdemonยจ the first time I experienced sleep paralysis. It became easier each time because I knew that the freeze wouldnt last long. Most of the time, I felt like I could hear my surroundings: my parents outside of the door, my phone dinging, the wind, cars on the road. Its as if you are viewing your life from the perspective of your dying corpse, unable to move, speak, or close your eyes. As terrifying as it can be for some people, only my first few times in being conscious in this state did I mind it. Maybe I liked the feeling, like I liked being sleepless days on end ยจfor the rushยจ. Maybe if it happens to me again Ill experiment with it a bit more.

My husband experienced sleep paralysis everyday for about 2 years, he always told me that they were waiting for him to leave his body, during that time he was very depressed and angry, he couldnt remember anything even if it was just told to him a minute ago, he would tell me about how his energy would be taken and he couldnt fall asleep unless he drank or had weed, these experiences still happen to him but not like they did, he told me that he was in the pit, one day he said that god grabbed his hand and pulled him out of there and he changed back to the person i knew before but had so much more strength, demons exist only to feed off of life force.
