blogging

what if i start using blogs as intended? i'm always tryna write mote than tweets allow me to. it might be the weed or the post-rock i'm listening to, but i can't help but feel myspace is such a good platform for self expression. i'm giving up trying to code a cool layout for today, i should probably get back to packing up. moving during a pandemic is a difficult and weird headspace, but everything seems to be going smooth and stress free, which is really a blessing. i can't help but feel like i deserve a smooth transition over everything that has happened over this year, but i suppose that is not how these things work. i got to see the homie seth yesterday before i moved away and they move to japan in a few months, and they gave me their old 303 clone as they are pairing down their studio to move. it was a really nice moment, in the freezing cold outside of their apartment. it feels great to see the homies moving towards better living situations, and i feel very validated for feeling like i need to gooooo right now. harboring a lot of resentment for america and american culture these days, it's moved from anger at tech companies to the larger behaviors of society that house said companies. is that more constructive? idk??? i just hate it here and i know humans can be better than this. some time among the granola in oregon might be really healing for me, as ironic as that sounds!!! (i moved to seattle to be involved in the rave scene and lean away from granola stuff lol).

i had been venting in weird stutters on tumblr, in-between incomprehensible jokes and midi files, which in hindsight is pretty jarring. i might start writing here. i also love how big the text box is, because it doesn't condition me to try to express my thoughts in a bite sized nugget of content, like a tweet. you can comment on my blogs and communicate with me, but no likes or reposts or anything to build clout off. so refreshing. lets get better at expressing ourselves outside of content i'm thinking.

my friend pedro just poked me on facebook 29 times in a row in the year of our lord 2020
