so i live in NJ (best state) and i've recently really been getting into the music of our punk scene a lot, i'm going to a few shows in the future the earliest being this friday !!! These people are all so talented and underrated it's crazy. My fav bands were chemical-x, Cherry Pop, Kirkby Kiss, and SLUGS. (check em out guys, they all have a spotify !!!)
What's also cool is that a lot of the bands interact with me on instagram, like they follow me and watch my stories and the members dm me and stuff, it makes me so so happy. They're so kind and talented and i'm so excited for friday !!!!
Kirkby Kiss has a vinyl out for preorder which i also might get, tryina grow my vinyl collection ya know....
putting "New Jersey" in my instagram bio was a great choice
also a few days ago i made a new friend in school because she complimented my iron maiden shirt (she was wearing a smashing pumpkins one :D ) and we both spent all of last night fangirling over these bands cuz it's so exciting and they're so so good, she might even come to the show with me.
moral of the story, look into ur local scene it's literally so fun such good times very much recommend yes yes
