i feel like i just posted one of these but whatever. i'm here again bc a lot's happened in the last few days. i hope you know i'm wearing earplugs while writing this because my wall is squeaking like a motherfucker because it's so windy outside. anyways.

yesterday was my friend's sweet sixteen party!!!! no, not as fun as some other sweet sixteens but it's the first one i've been to so ha. we drove into philly (no one believed it was my first time being in the city. idk. i'm from new jersey. my parents are scared of philly.) and walked around for a little and got boba tea and then we went to korean barbeque which is literally insane?? do it at least once in your life it's such an experience omg?? anyways. i got off easy and everyone else cooked the food for me lol. i got some cute cow stickers from this store in chinatown. will be putting them everywhere.

then we drove home, the drive was great, and did gifts. i made sure mine went last because i like to go out with a bang (no pun intended) but also because mine was kind of meaningful because the girl whose birthday it was is my best friend. literally my favorite person on earth. and she cried while reading my note to her so that's a win in my book. lmao. i made her a mix cd, and got her a painting and an autobiography from one of her favorite artists. i'm really glad she liked the gifts :) and then we all stayed up until three am gossiping and oversharing. that was it. we didn't watch a movie or anything. just talked. for like five hours straight. idk. it was weird. 

and now i'm home!! i got a hot four hours of sleep, so you know i feel awesome. i almost forgot to mention but i have been on a writing spree for the last few days as well. i figured out some good melodies in school and literally had to tap them out on tables so i wouldn't forget them. i didn't talk to anyone for a whole period to make sure i didn't forget them lmao. there's one with some lyrics from rushmore, one i figured out on guitar pretty quickly, and one that's still coming together. i want it to be long, like over six minutes, so i'm collecting different verses and putting them in when they start to fit. but it's coming along, i'm really proud of myself :)

so!! i've had a headache for the last twelve hours honestly. i am very tired. i feel like i still smell like korean barbeque. anyways!! bracing myself for this week coming up. if it doesn't get warm soon i'm going to cause a problem. for real.
