"Closer Than Ever" A Kokichi x Reader, Chapter two "The Chase"

By the time we arrived at the dining hall, it seems everyone else had already arrived. “Yaha! It seems you finally arrived! Atua is so happy you could make it!” cheered a girl, who I’m pretty sure was named Angie. “Blah Blah whatever, anyways why are we here” Kokichi interrupted, which was quite rude. “Ah yeah, Angie decided we should all eat breakfast together so here we are.” answered Kaito..I think that was his name. That’s when he realized I was there, “Hey who are you? Haven’t really seen you around?” he tilted his head. Before I could even speak, Kokichi answered “They’re name is (Y/n) (L/n), The Ultimate Baker” . He sounded like he was bragging to be honest even though it was my talent. Anyways, as expected it seemed like quite a few people we’re happy about this. “Hey just because I can bake doesn’t mean I will okay” I made sure to clear up. “Aw but what about our five layer cake?” Kokichi whined. “I said nothing about not doing the cake, even though I really don’t want to a challenge is a challenge” I reassured him. 

Anyways, turns out we all gathered there to discuss some surprise to bring us all together, it had something to do with Himiko so it must be some magic show or something. Anyways I ended up heading to my room, since I had to plan the cake for tomorrow and Kokichi ended up following behind me. What was with this boy? What did he want from me? The same questions kept going around my head over and over, overwhelming me more and more. I needed answers! Maybe if I’m lucky enough, I’ll gain the courage to ask him myself. “Soooo, whatcha gonna do?” Kokichi decided to break the silence. “That’s none of your business” I replied. He frowned, “Well if your gonna be mean then I guess I won’t warn you about later” he snickered as he walked away slowly. I paused, what the heck? What was he talking about?! “Hey what warning?” I began to follow him, he started walking away faster. I ended up chasing him around the building for who knows how long, still yet to receive an answer. 

Eventually I got tired of chasing and he got tired of running so we both took a rest. “So do you really wanna know about the warning?” he quizzed. “Please, yes I do” I begged, he thought to himself “okay here’s the deal, I get to sleepover in your dorm tonight and I tell you what to watch out for, got it” he stated. I nodded and he began talking, “So you know how I wanted to see everybody’s motive video, well I planned a way that we can watch them all together!” he sounded quite excited. “So what’s the warning part?”

Turns out, he told Gonta that we all hated bugs, so now he would gather all of us together for an insect meet and greet? Well turns out he was correct, because a few hours later my reading time was interrupted by Gonta’s raging scream. Miu was the one who told me to hide stating “If you don’t hide yourself then that angry giant is gonna catch yer *ss, who knows what nasty things that weirdo is into!” she cackled as she ran off. Gontas stomping came closer, I began to panic “dang it dang it where to hide?!” I asked myself. I quickly hopped into my wardrobe and waited. And I kept waiting..waiting..waiting..waiti…….and then I fell asleep..
