iDKHOW

On February 11th, I was able to see "I Don't Know How But They Found Me" in concert. This was my second concert ever, and first time being in General Admission. I first started listening to idkhow as soon as they released their first song to the public in 2017. I discovered them through their frontman Dallon Weekes, who I had been following since his days as bassist in Panic! at the Disco. I also loved his other work with The Brobecks (they played 2 Brobecks songs at this concert!) so I was very excited for idkhow. They are one of the few bands that I have stuck with since then, the beginnings of my freshman year of high school. Although I do not listen to them as often as I once did, I am very glad that I was able to see them live and to see Dallon Weekes in real life. I am glad I have been able to watch their journey from the start as the band gets bigger. Incredible to see both Dallon and Ryan performing just a few feet in front of me rather than on my small phone screen.

The opening band for this show was a band named "Superet." I enjoyed their set, one of my favorite songs being "Love the Animal." It is fun to discover new music by witnessing it live in front of you. I enjoyed this concert experience very much and am very excited for the many concerts that I am planning to attend this year.
