What is it about?

•This psychological thriller is about Nina, a ballerina whose passion for dance rules every facet on her life. When the Companys artistic director decides to replace his prima ballerina for the opening production “the swan lake” Nina is his first choice , she has competition of a newcomer named Lily . this movie tells us about the descent to the madness of Nina and her obsession with perfection

This movie have a very nice cinematic photography and the esthetic which lets us know a lot about Nina's emotions so according to these, the movie becomes darker, scarier and makes us feel stressed. Also the costumes and makeup are very good and tries to explain this idea of tonalities, since the pink and pastel tones tell us about Nina's innocence and good behavior, instead in the final scene we are introduced to odile or the black swan which, as its name indicates uses the dark tones representing his "evil"•the plot offers us an interesting and entertaining story with an unpredictable ending and a story of obsession, I think it is an unusual plot by bringing together psychological elements and terror, in my opinion it is a wonderful movie with a great and disturbing message behind
