ジューシーなフルーツ / Don't forget YOU (do this for power)

There is great peace in the solitude of nature. This peace powerfully protects, recharges, and reenergizes the human spirit. In life's sojourn, I have found that I often need to take breaks from everyone and everything because I need some me-time.

I am a very giving person and I constantly do a lot for others in service, so I do not feel selfish when I take me-time. I'm simply tending to my own mental, physical, and spiritual health so that I can be refreshed and recharged to give even more and to help others again.

I'm a lot better person when I have ample time to refresh and recharge.

It is actually possible to take a break from emotions if you learn how to enjoy the solitude of nature in the present moment. It is called mindfulness.

Learning mindfulness has helped billions of people to deal with the negative bombardment of energy-sapping emotions from the crazy and frenetic pace of life and of this world. You can learn to first tune out the "buzz" of life, then later to actually turn it off.

It is good to get away. Find a peaceful place that you love, a scenic view, or cozy corner in a park, or a walk on a nature trail, something out in nature and away from people and the view of the city. Take deep breaths and concentrate on feeling those breaths go in and out of your body, in and out of your lungs and nostrils.

It is refreshing to focus inward on the body and feel yourself breathing, moving, be totally aware of your own physical self and feel yourself relaxing, let your muscles relax, close your eyes for a few moments and feel the breaths. With each breath think about breathing in the energy and harmony of nature and breathing out the toxins and negatives of the world.

Then smile and take it all in, take in nature, the scene, look at the plants, look at how they are shaped, look at the details of the leaves and the patterns they have. Look at a tree, a mountain view or prairie. Just look at the details of them, the colors, the vibrancy. Smell the rich smells of the earth, leaves, plants, trees, flowers. Listen to the sounds of trees and wind, the birdsong, water trickling. Recognize that YOU are a natural part and extension of nature and indeed, of the entire universe. Feel yourself in flow with the natural cycles of nature and the universe.

As you practice these methods of relaxation, you will get better and better at realizing that you are at one with the universe. You are in harmony with the universe and all of life, naturally. This helps to refresh your body and mind and to recharge your soul and spirit of life. Take time to practice this solitude at least once a week to start. Soon, you will love it so much and find it so exhilarating you will probably want to do it more.

You see, the tree cannot produce delicious fruit or other benefits for man and nature until it first gets its needs met.

but fruit is not all a tree produces
and it's biggest offering is invisible to the naked eye, yet so precious

Yes, thanks for that keen observation.

Indeed, that is very true and I could have mentioned any one of a tree's manifold benefits to man and nature to represent its productivity, but I chose" fruit" for its obvious manifestation and economy of words. The intention in this poem is that "fruit" is a figurative representation of ALL a tree's beneficial products.

It is similar to how we talk about the "fruit" of one's labor. I don't produce some kind of apple or grape by my labor, so what is the "fruit" of my labor? Metaphoric for so much more than just a physical piece of fruit.

i understand, my point was, just like a tree doesn't only give us fruit, so too don't people
and just like the tree produces oxygen without as much work as it does fruit, so too can we help others, without being in our tip-top shape

Hahahaha—YES, absolutely, even when not our best we all provide some kind of beneficial force to others—a no good loser and scoundrel provides impetus for others to avoid the same mistakes and to take action to not be impacted by their negatives, huh?

(Sorry, not meaning to refute in any way, just smiling about it and looking at the frivolous side of it. Thanks, appreciate the perspective.)

fr! You can't help others when you aren't at your best. I don't rlly have to do much to recharge. When I'm feeling down, angry, worried, etc., I just pray and keep being optimistic bc I know for a fact tht with God on my side, everything's gonna be just fine! :DDD
Your posts are amazing and ur rlly wise! Tysm for this!

Jesus Christ taught mindfulness to his disciples. He said, "If thine eye be single thy body shall be full of light." The Aramaic word for single is understood in light of single-minded focus in the present moment, nothing else distracting.

Isaiah wrote "Thou [God] will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee because he trusts in Thee."

Prayer is a form of meditation, and when you lift your heart in prayer to God, Philippians says He will keep you in perfect peace.

What's really cool is that God designed things in life that will recharge and refresh man. Some of these things are 1) music, 2) humor, 3 nature

So meditation in nature is a great way to be refreshed and enjoy God's handiwork.

I think you are still in your peaceful place.
