Hi everyone! It's been a while since my last blog post.
I hope 2022 has been treating you well.
Today I'd like to talk about a couple of features that I wish SpaceHey had. These particular features are ones that MySpace, the site SpaceHey is heavily based on, used to have back in the day.
First off, I wish SpaceHey had the original Messaging format. Before IM, MySpace had a messaging system similar to that of receiving a DM. It looked like this:

I know what you're thinking: "IMing is so much faster and more convenient." Indeed! I'm well aware of the fact that being able to instantly message someone and receive an instant message back is much better in the long run. I don't think SpaceHey should get rid of this form of messaging. I simply miss the more slow-paced form of messaging. I've had so many conversations (mostly gossip and nerd talk) on MySpace's old Message feature and kind of wish I could relive that part specifically.
In addition to messages, I wish SpaceHey had the photo album feature that MySpace had.

I think this feature would be especially useful for artists who would like to have an album dedicated to showing their work. Of course, I think it'd be a good to have a limit of how many photos could be in an album. A family member of mine used to have a MySpace album FILLED with Sailor Moon screenshots, at least hundreds of them >w< She had me sit down next to her and look at all the photos x_x Simpler times.
If SpaceHey DOES happen to have either of these features and I just happened to miss them... then I feel really silly typing this all up -_- If not, then consider this my friendly suggestion for features that should be added. Of course, I love SpaceHey as is and don't NEED these features to enjoy my time here. I just think it'd be useful to have <:

I do like the "email way" of writing stuff to people sometimes, I don't know why exactly, I just really like it. I don't mind if SpaceHey doesn't have it as an option.
I really like the idea of having albums added on this site. I draw a lot, and it'll be nice to have my art on here too.

Same here! I remember always getting really excited when I'd see that New Message notification. Agreed, it'd be nice to relive but IM is good too.
Same here! I'd definitely check out your art albums if/when SpaceHey ever implements it.
