I started training at my new job (woo hoo!), and I'm so happy I'm not a NEET anymore, at least for now. I'm so stressed out though! So much to learn in such little time, I suddenly remember how I had so much time to myself when I was unemployed. Still, I like making my own money, which is the most important part. I just hope that I can put in my best work so that I can be a good team member to make my coworkers' lives easier.
My friend from out of the country is currently visiting my city, and it's unfortunate timing that he arrived the weekend just before my work started. We could have had an entire week where I drive him all over the city if he had just come earlier, but I suppose that's just how life works sometimes.
We actually watched Office Space together (my first time!), and it was hilarious how much I felt like I could relate to it. I totally understand the soul-sucking dryness of working at a desk for basically the entire day, but I know I'm making my friends and family proud of me by being a contributing member of society. I can't wait to get my first paycheck so I can blow it on buying CDs!
