Art.
Why do we call 'Art' only that which is done by a few,
but not by all?
We all have creative abilities.
We just don't express them because we are afraid.
Afraid of rejection.
Afraid of Comparison.
Not being good enough.
But compared to what?
Have you ever thought of that?
What are we really holding ourselves back from?
Someone else's opinion of what shall be called,
"Good enough Art"?
And who really is a higher judge then the
Good Lord Almighty Above?
Right?
So...
"It's time", I say.
Time to get Real,
and take your gift with open arms
and appreciation.
Begin to use what brings you so much joy!
No self judgments.
No self criticisms
.Just Start.
Use what you are good at in any way possible.
Follow the joy of it.
If you feel the joy fade,
Let it.
Welcome any new feelings
or unknown joys arise.
Keep following the flow.
It's like riding a wave.
No matter how big it gets,
You'll always feel the warmth of it's embrace.
I dare ya!

What a beautiful reminder.
Each word is a poem; each line a dance. Each atom contains life; every word a miracle. Each atom contains the spirit of creativity; every word the soul of the artist.
Every flawed drawing contains the beauty of a life. Every painting a masterpiece. You are right to ask who defines art. Who says that the artist should be a master? Who defines an artist, the child, the genius, the painter? Who defines the beauty of life and the love of creation? Who defines the beauty of the human heart and its artistic expressions. Who says the art of a child should be devoid of beauty and the art of a genius should be filled with brilliance? What is art? What is beauty?
Welcome the unknown, the failures, the sentences that do not have an end and the lines on a blank canvas that are not yet a portrait. As you said ride the wave and let the music guide you through the world of creation. Your art will come from your heart. Your beauty will come from your soul. The words you say will flow out of you like a river of life. Your song will sound.
