I've been into the emo subculture since I was little and first started using the internet, but I had to hide it as my family was strict and was very open about their hatred of them.
But now that I'm older and I live with my dad I realized I don't have to hide it anymore so I told him and ahhh very overwhelming. He said that I'm allowed to listen to and wear whatever I want and I'm going to get new clothes so uhh yea!!! Very excited :3 Especially since I felt like such a poser for not being able to dress in the style because they were strict but now maybe I won't be ! :,,3

congrats!!! it's always nice to be able to be open about your interest in things and it's even better when your family/friends accept it, I hope you have fun embracing the culture!
