why is it the guys you like never like you back

someone, please, someone with knowledge and brains, PLEASE tell me why the guys who like you are almost NEVER the guys you like. like the guys i am into barely realize i exist but the guys who make me sick are already planning our wedding. somebody please tell me what this is about, bc i feel NAUSEATED
