My family doesn't really, but we're 100% gonna start doing it! I think it just depends on what you work with; since someone in my family is a teacher, they get constant phone calls and messages from both the school, and parents, sometimes even students too! A lot of the time it's not even during work hours, I say it's pretty worth it if you get a lot of messages, then you'll know if it's an emergency or a work call!!
I really advise you to get a separate phone, especially if you have your own business. I've been using my own phone for quite a long time now, and I can say that it makes work very easy.
