Why The Church Is Conservative.

Christianity has had a History of Social Justice, many supporting collectivism, abolition, and voting rights, however, the Church in the West has taken a surprising turn, and since the latter half of the 20th Century most Christians have supported Right-Wing Movements, which tend to be less supportive of the Egalitarianism.

This was because Pastor Jerry Falwell encouraged his supporters to support Republican Nominee Ronald Reagan for President, and this worked out, as most Christians saw Reagan/'s platform as in accordance with their faith.
The Catholic Church has always remained more Moderate and hasn't gone to the right as much.
What has happened as a result are Evangelical Christians, who sincere in their reasoning, are supporting a Movement of Nationalism, that hardly reflects anything Religious, but rather something inherently Political
I welcome disagreement and am willing to hear you out If you disagree that Christianity's Right-Wing Shift has had a negative outcome.
