Book writing

I had started writing a book back in 2020, the first step is always the hardest to start. Once you're over that, it's easier from there; when writing your book or any story for that matter, do your research as you go along. It makes a big difference when writing out your book, I found out a simple trick that helps is to see if the title is copyrighted. Now, what copyright means the title and the characters already created by an author; there had been problems with Plagiarism, where the title and/or the characters were copied by another author. That's liable for a lawsuit, that's why research and choosing your title carefully is paramount; I looked up to see if the title I have was already in use before starting. I don't think my brother understands that Beauty and the Beast was already copyrighted by a French woman when she wrote the story and also by Disney back in the 1990s; I really don't want to see my brother to be in some hot water, especially legally. I would be okay if people would love to make fan fiction stories from my book, in fact, I would be happy to read them and comment on the stories; writing fan fiction stories is apart of how I had started in writing in the first place writing fan fiction for Anime I watched when I started high school.

I will leave with these parting tips if you wish to start writing fan fiction or a non-fiction or fiction book:

1. Choose your title carefully and wisely because the title you may pick may be in use already.

2. Do your research for the subject for your book or fan fiction, it pays to know your subject as you're writing.

3. Don't over exert yourself, especially when you have writer's block.

Remember, writer's block can happen, especially when you're working on something important like a paper or a book.
