i want to be in love

i want to be so in love with someone it's intoxicating. i want to look at my lover and feel the warmth of the sun rising. i want to be looked at and admired like the moon and the stars. i want those moments where you're comfy doing nothing and just existing together. i want to play with someone's hair while we watch something. i want to hug and feel my lover in such a pure way. i want someone so i can sing those cheesy love songs to. i want to play with their fingers and hold hands. i want to share small kisses all over. when we're together it would feel peaceful like a quiet morning while camping. it would feel safe and like we could do anything together. i want to see them and feel at peace and so incredibly safe. i want to feel the comfort and vulnerability i've heard so many people talk about. i so desperately want to be in love. i crave that physical contact but also being able to be emotional. to have someone who i can share everything to and feel almost no shame. i wish to be in love even if it's not forever.
