(hihi, allie again. this character is basically a self insert. She's basically living my idea romanticized life.)

Hanako seems like a simple girl on the outside, sweet and quiet. works at a flower and garden store, watches kids from the elementary school, generally good student. 

within, she's troubled. she feels worthless if she isn't sweet and helpful. all she wants to do is help people and make her friends smile. If she can't do this, she spirals and starts feeling like her life doesn't have worth. 

"What do i do? well i go to work, the stores owned by my mom's friend so i help out so she can keep an eye on me so my mom doesn't have to worry at work. she stays out late so i do a lot by myself."

Her family used to be more stable, but then they had to move. they used to live out on the countryside, and had a house surrounded by plants. She was happy, but because of earthquake concerns, they had to move to yumegaoka since it was more developed and was safer. however, once they moved their financial situation got worse and they had to move into an apartment building, which took away her yard access. she really misses her garden, so she throws herself into work as a replacement. she hopes that saving up her money will help them get a house again. 

She lives alone with her mother. it's not the biggest apartment, but it has enough room for both of them. her room is extra bright cheery and green. surrounding herself in happy things helps her feel happy.

"oh!! i love my room :)) i have a lot of vines and flowers, as well as a lot of little cute trinkets!! since my apartment doesn't have much room, i spend pretty much all my time in my bedroom. So i make it extra happy!!!"

Her best friend is minato, they ran into each other while minato was being chased by a kid. They accidentally swapped bags, and noticed that they had the same manga. they noticed that a lot of the stuff in each others bag drew them to each other.

"Minatos like my closest friend!! when i got to class i accidentally realized that i took his bag and all their art stuff was in there, when we exchanged bags at lunch we talked about each others interests and now we're best friends!!"
