My friends just left my house after they slept over for my birthday, which was pretty fun! I feel like I should have been more entertaining to them, but they didn't express any displeasure with it, so overall I'd consider this a success.
I got a lot of very thoughtful gifts, and a fair amount of money too. I was going to send a gift back with them though, for one of our other friends who's flying out back to our state for their birthday (It's likely I won't be able to see them) but I forgot to give it to them :( It's okay though, I'm sure I'll find a way to get the gifts to her.
At 5:20 tonight (in around 25 minutes) I have a discord stage I'm joining in on, its for my job as an animator. It's really just a small way for fans of the project to get to watch the heads of the project and some of the other workers interact and stuff, It's really fun, so I'm excited for that and even though I'll only be able to talk for 10 minutes, it's likely I'll still be tuned in as a listener afterwards.
Once that's done I think I'll work on my Math, English and Geography homework for tomorrow. It should be pretty easy, and maybe take me around an hour or two, so I'll have around two more hours after that to draw, play Genshin, watch a show, or do whatever I want before I start getting ready to go to sleep at 9.
It's not an enforced curfew, I just prefer getting ready for bed earlier. It gives me more time to officially wind down and sleep well each night, and then I can still wake up at 6 the next morning and be fully rested. I'm not very much of a morning person, but in a life of instability I like having a schedule for things I can control, like my sleep schedule or my skincare routine. I just find it nice, it's a personal preference.
I like this website though, it's like a glorified online journal that a bunch of other people and my close friends can see. It's comforting, I think I'll be using it more.
