I would like to warn people to be on the look out for anyone under 18 and adding you. It's a bad look generally speaking, and many minors simply don't know better and add anyone willy nilly. I know I certainly did at their age and I'm still paying for it emotionally.
Further more, if a minor's profile says "h0rny," or any other censor dodging respellings of the word, you have no good outcomes from interacting. Block them, and if they're younger than 13, report them for violating the Terms of Service's age requirement. They have no business adding you to begin with.
If they're discussing that sort of stuff at their age while adding adults, you have a few outcomes. None of which are good.
- They get too "friendly" with you, because teenagers are impulsive and sometimes stupid. Then you risk getting arrested for receiving pictures you never asked for.
- They're a catfish, whose actually very much a grown adult, and are preying on minors. You then look bad by having them added if/when they get caught (hopefully when).
- Best Case Scenario: You befriend a socially awkward teenager who you have little to nothing in common with, and likely will struggle talking to, because you're not exactly 14 anymore and have hardly anything in common.
While peaking at newly created and online accounts, I've already seen quite a few who turned out to minors with primarily grown men as friends. Please please be on the look out for adults adding minors. Newer social media sites like these are just as much of a target for sleezy scumbuckets as big ones like Twitter are, if not more so because a smaller site staff and slower moderation are expected. And don't let some people trick you, because men, women, and every gender in between can groom children too. (It wasn't men I was referring to when I mentioned myself not knowing better as a teenager.)

P.S.. I check every profile for the person's age if I get a friend request. If they added their age after the fact, and they're under 18, then feel free to let me know so I can boot them. I tried saying to not add me if you're a minor in my bio, but it's possible that's not something everyone reads.
