what's yall's opinions on cannibalism being a metaphor for love?
I personally see a form of,
grotesque beauty in it.
I know a lot of people would hear or see it on surface level
and think
"eugh why would you want to eat someone you love so much?"
but I personally think its more about the deeper representations and meanings,
like yearning and aching to be so impossibly close to someone
and
morphing into each other, becoming one in the same with body with still two separate minds
...
love is such a complicated and complex thing
and i dont mean the love parts of love,
i mean seeing a whole other human being,
- weather they have flaws/ are going through stuff or not -
and thinking about a life with them,
genuinly wanting them to have a permenant place in your life,
thinking they couldnt be more perfect if they tried,
thinking:
"how in all of all of time that has existed and that will exist, how was i lucky enough to meet them now"
