In my opinion, most religions try toโand succeed inโmanipulating people through fear. Take Christianity, for example: half of its followers only stick with the religion because theyโre afraid of going to hell.

I somewhat agree. As an antitheist I belive religion brings us nothing but harm anyway. It holds our society back so much which is horrible to watch. Most kids are also brainwashed from the begining into being religious, which is just so disturbing

As a pagan I honestly donโt care if youโre religious or not. So like not all were made to manipulate only some of them were. But of course thatโs my opinion ๐คทโโ๏ธ

Omg ur so right, i live in a secular country but most of the people are Muslim and when u say u are not muslum their reactions are insane and dont even get me started when they are gona try to argue religion w you so annoying ofc there are respectfully people too but the others... Religion was created to oppress people and the oppressed use it as a coping mechanism, thats why they fight so hard to keep it going; because its the perfect system for the oppressors
