Today I bought a portable dvd player on Vinted after searching for an affordable and working one for months! Initially I bought a small one for 12 euro, probably from the 2000s, but the seller cancelled the order! :(
Then I went searching because I was still disappointed and found a purple one labeled as brand new but it was 55 euros. I still added it to favorites just in case.
Scrolled through various listings, got really hyped by the thought of having a dvd player as old as me and then I get a notification that the purple one got discounted to 35 euros!!
Went to check the listing and did a tiny "background check" of the player on Google. It's a new model, with a 15.6" screen (which is like double the size of the ones from 2000s!!), purple and it usually goes for 80-100 euro on Amazon. So after some thinking and comparing it to a Toshiba one from 2008, I bought it! (And the seller lowered the price to 30!)
The seller will send it in its original packaging with all the cables and the remote and I really really hope it will work and that it's not a scam because she told me it works. 👀
I can't wait to play my dvdssss!!!!!

A new portable dvd player for 30 bucks sounds like an absolute steal! Woah!
I agree!! That's why I'm kinda scared that it ends up being a scam
