good evening world

getting to this blog entry a little late... ive been very busy today !

around noon i went out for a walk... it was a fucking SCORCHER outside today and it pissed me off. 75 degrees fahrenheit ! shove it up yours ! that's ridiculous ! it's the dead middle of october !

but outside of that my walk was pleasant. i walked down to the asian market near my place and bought lots and lots of fish jerky. mmmm fish jerky. and it all only cost me like 25 bucks... i also grabbed my favorite hard candies and a little dark green tea... rlly quite wonderful

my roommates went to the new raising caine's that opened up over here and uh... to be honest with you im a little disappointed... i understand that may be inflammatory to some but it was kind of just okay fried chicken... i dunno if it warrants shutting down an entire bridge just so the line could be directed

i've never really been big on fried food anyway, so maybe i already have a bias towards it. beats me ┐(´ー｀)┌

outside of that i've been listening to the men at work album cargo... and like holy cow... of course i've listened to business as usual, and while i love who can it be now? and down under, this album seriously has some fantastic tracks on it... upstairs in my house and settle down my boy are just a handful of examples

i really love the lead singer colin hay's voice, something so warm and inviting about it. he sounds tired... really tired... the only way i can describe the album is like, what you'd expect to hear out of an old tinny radio in a seaside antique shop... full of rusting old tin knick knacks and cocacola paraphernalia from the 60s-70s... i adore the sound so much ! it's very warm to me

i've been blasting the album on my kenwood KL-7080s and have it running through my beloved pioneer VSX-3800 and like holy cow. the sound is super orange and fuzzy... and the bass control, holy cow ! i can't gush abt it enough seriously i love it so so so much

it may not be for everyone, but it's definitely for me. it's absolutely for me.
