aaand yet again, last week got ruined because of the old bastard at my workplace (again, which isn't a shocker at this point). he's back on his bullshit again of telling me that i'm "sabotaging" his work (i'm not his personal assistant) and accused me of not handing him a piece of fucking paper (to which i've already handed it to him last week; my other coworker told me that he's the type to rearrange and tuck random papers in and then forget where he'd place them). so hurray for the first week of october, i guess.
i wouldn't dwell much on this anymore, since i told myself to stop making a big deal out of it. he's just one guy and the chances of meeting him outside the work is slim. i also don't want to give him the satisfaction of seeing me in distress and mad at him. he's just so insufferable.
on a happier note, i met up with some friends on saturday and had a lot of catching up to do! majority of them took up different courses and others transferred uni, so i barely could see them or ask them how they've been doing. but it feels nice that we managed to squeeze in a little meet up despite our busy schedules.
and it was to my surprise when they told me major lore drop about one of our former friends backstabbing and creating unnecessary, petty drama to the point that it reached the dean and professors, just to "prove a point" (it proved nothing, by the way). kinda feel bummed that she turned out that way. she was genuinely so fun to be with before. my friend told me that our ex-friend probably felt that the world was against her, so anyone who tries to be rational or calm her down, she then attacks them instead.
also, the weather's starting to get chilly and i'm very excited. i'm already old enough to celebrate it, but i love christmas a lot. i like the idea of gifts, the whole christmas aesthetic, and just generally being happy the whole season.
currently ignoring the fact that i'm swamped with uni stuff and work LOL.
i'm already brainstorming of gift ideas to give to my closest frineds and family, but i'm still in this dilemma of selecting the perfect gift for them. i kind of wanted to give them something memorable yet useful in their daily lives, you know? and i'm already stressing as early as now because i just know prices will be more expensive once december's near and i'm not fond of the holiday rush.
oh well. are there any simple yet practical gifts out there (apart from mugs; please, anything but mugs)? i gotta think more.
catching up with friends and gift ideas, please
