My super religious mom made me atheist.

Okay so for some background my mom made me go to some religious counseling thing for anxiety. During this there was one lesson that was talking about being different and what that made us feel blah blah blah. Ofc the first thing I thought of was “oh I’m gay lol”. Later my mom see this and tells me that she things it would be a good idea for me to come out to my PREACHER’S WIFE. I immediately told her absolutely not abs that it was a horrible idea and she got all butthurt that I wasn’t blindly following her belief that Christians can do no wrong. She then goes on to turn it around on me and be like “Well if you didn’t watch all this lhbs or whatever you tubers all the time you wouldn’t think that way.” Like tf? Anyway,so my mom has became even more religious and wacky and  she’s already a religious nut who thinks that lizard people are running the government. So I was at church last Sunday and I graduated recently so they gave me a present. Sounds cute right? Yeah they gave me a Bible. It’s called She Reads Truth and is basically made so you don’t feel like you’re trying to read Shakespeare every time you open it. I was grateful ofc bc hey a gift cool,but I just knew the second I got it that my mom would either make me go through it or highlight stuff in it that seemed important. I’m using it right now to find stuff that just kind of make you go “What the fuck?” and to help me unbrainwash myself from this cult. And yes I’m calling it a cult bc there’s been more than a few times at this church where I’ve genuinely thought “This is gonna be the next WACO…”.
