today didn't go well. i mean, the start of the day went okay-ish, but then halfway through, it just went downhill.
it started when these classmates at uni were just poking fun at each other. and then they started including me with these jokes. okay, cool, i can play along or even crack some jokes with them. but then i started noticing that they're now blaming me for something i didn't even do, but they do it in a joking manner, if you get what i mean?
there's this girl who always borrows the correction tape thing from another classmate (i did too, a couple of times in the past but now i don't since i have my own now), and when she wanted borrowed it again today, she noticed that it's almost used up and she just went: "gosh, twig, you didn't have to use all of the correction tape from [insert classmate #2 name]!" knowing full well it was her who always borrows that thing. the joke went on for quite some time, both of them blaming me for wasting it so much and how i'm "rich enough" to buy them a new one.
there were plenty of other small comments and jokes between them both that goes like that; loud enough for me to hear within earshot. but i guess the last straw for me was when they were poking fun of each other for having acne. mind you, their skins are both flawless and blemish-free. i was the only one who's having a bad breakout right now due to hormones and stress.
and when we were going home, i went ahead first and when i looked back, they weren't there. it took me a few minutes of waiting til they finally showed up and i don't buy their excuse of "[classmate #1 name] was held up because someone asked for a spare change". i deliberately slowed down my pace when walking too, yet none of them even had to call my name and ask to wait. and again, they jokingly accused me of walking too fast to ignore them.
i don't know; am i reaching? am i just too sensitive? i normally don't mind these comments and i always insist that i wouldn't meet these people again in the future (bonus points since they're not my friends), but it's just kinda rude when they're making someone else's looks the butt of the joke. or the way they tease and blame you for something you aren't aware of/didn't do. maybe because i'm not close with them in the first place that i feel uncomfortable about it?
i guess i'm just too sensitive lately since my cycle's coming up. the next time they pull these kind of jokes again, i have to tell them how i feel about it. for now, i'll let it slide and brush it off as harmless jokes.
am i just too sensitive?

I don’t think you’re sensitive. You are just noticing a pattern. Personally, I have faced similar “jokes” sometimes about weight or acne, my own name or personality. And with the right person they do feel like a light-hearted joke, something you would remark because of a memory or a mistake you did. But if you feel like it’s more than that, I would trust your gut. It’s intuition not sensitivity.

Your friends aren't treating you right.
I understand that you look for flaws in yourself to justify their mistakes, but don't do that.
Trust your instincts, talk to them, and tell them what you didn't like. If they keep doing it, you don't have to hang out with them
