my phone broke…

idek how that happened, it was just one evening when my screen started to freeze. i thought it would go back to normal but eventually it went completely off. the thing is, i could still feel the vibrations when i got a message, only the screen didn’t turn on and it’s soo frustrating!! 

after a couple of minutes, i was able to turn it on again, but i couldn’t do much with it because it would glitch out and freeze again, so i had to turn my phone off and then it wouldn’t turn on again… so i gave it up. 

my mom says she’ll wait until the IPHONE 18 comes out so she can buy it and i can get her old one. i’m sorry but it’s sooo unnecessary to buy the newest iphone 18. she could easily just buy the iphone 17 for a cheaper price but no, she "just wants the 18". and now she changed her mind again, saying she has to think about it again. ??? come on. 

now i have to temporarily use my brother’s old phone. i mean, it’s okay, the only downsides are the battery capacity (68% which is like REALLY bad, i have to have it on the lowest brightness all the time), the main loudspeaker is broken and the charging port doesn’t work anymore… so i have to charge it with a magnetic powerbank. so basically almost everything important doesn’t work. 

okay i don’t wanna be ungrateful or anything, but i want to have a new phone at least until march next year, since i will be in berlin on a class trip then. i want to be able to take photos again without it being linked to my brother’s current phone. and idk how my mom’s opinion will change whether to buy herself a new phone now or not. honestly, her old one still works so i don’t get why she wants new one.
