Grounded for life :((

Guys,so I’m supposed to be going to a whopping five parties—three b-days, one New Year’s party, and a hangout(not really a party but wtv)—but my mom told me like a two weeks ago that I’m not allowed outside my house to hangout till FREAKING 2027!!! Like wtf, and the thing is that all my friends know that my parents r strict af so I’m usually not invited anywhere but now they wanna invite me right after I’m grounded?? Omggg liek I might actually kms bc I really reallyyyy wanna go to these parties. The first one is like next week so if I’m not allowed, I’ll actually cry.

The whole thing is that I get y I’m grounded like I messed up but not allowed out till the big 27?? That’s gotta be in violation of the eighth amendment and be considered a cruel and unusual punishment???

Ive been acting my complete best for like a month now tho— she told me I was grounded like a week after the whole reason y I got grounded happened 😠😠—so I’m abt to ask if I can go dress shopping to go to my friends sixteenth. I alr RSVP’d tho so if they say no I’ll use that excuse wnd maybe they’d let me go. If not I might just die ☹️☹️
