Overall, today was a fine day. Compared to pervious good days and terrible days, I’d say it sits right in the middle. Perhaps the worst of it was the odd sensation within my epiglottis. I have reason to believe that I have been experiencing ‘silent reflux’. Actually, I believe I have been experiencing it for years on a frequent scale. I digress. Point is that this irritation made today much more of a socially dry one.
At the end of my school day I did have a little chat with my math teacher. I had asked him a question about a topic we were going to learn later in the year. I really wanted to understand it now. He replied with a chuckle and suggested I not go ahead, proposing that I may get lost during class if I keep at my own pace. Personally, I believe I will be just fine.
Now that I am home, I have been struggling to focus. I took my adderall, but still the throat irritation is getting to me. I feel like there are so many things I need to do and want to do. Thinking about all of it makes me want to sit, grab my iPad, and watch random Youtube videos. I won’t… maybe.
I wish I could have just as much motivation as I do at night. Only during then do I feel a sense of desire to work, to better myself, all these other things. Like what the hell man! You had all this time, but the moment you see the time hit 7 o’clock do you feel a gallon of motivation.
I think today was somewhat of an acceptation though. While I do not like making excuses for myself, I also like to be realistic. I don’t think most people would be able to complete necessary work with the utmost attention while having an irritated throat paired with no knowledge of a cure, a brain full of thoughts that want to spill, a messy-ish room, and more and more.
If you read my little blog, then I thank you! These are just some of my thoughts of today. I will probably write or type the rest out. Those I will not publish. Have a joyous day.
