Skateboarding: GETTING BACK INTO THE GRIND

I recently just started picking up skateboarding again and wow did I miss it ! One thing I didn’t realize is the size of boards these days went up to 8.25-8.5?! So people are riding insanely wide boards which is standard now, but when I rode I was riding a 7.5-7.75. 

Safe to say, I ignored modern standards and got myself a 7.5 baker :D changed out the wheels to Bones 100s and bearings to Redz. Smooth as butter 🧈. Anyone else into skating or wanting to get into it ? It seriously cures my anxiety being back on the board, I’m glad to be backkk.
