Starting college is a bitttch. To anyone who even cares to read this, just know I will barely even be active, really just to blog because I like having something to look back on.
This will mainly be about my Art History teacher. At first I hated her sooo much because we had a first bad impression. But, today, our official second class just made me realize... she's literally me. She's a stickler, passionate about her otherwise mundane subject, and is eccentric all in all. When she scolded upperclassmen (embarrassing) for laughing because her projector wasn't working, I was like "girl, yes tell them bc why is your stress funny?". I actually went up to her after class, shook her hand, and told her "Hey, i wanted to introduce myself on the first day but I had things going on (I didn't). Just wanted to say I love your energy towards your subject, and I love how you lecture. It might be my new favorite class, especially as your passion." She proceeded to laugh and just give me a hug, joking about how she "loves" me already. I believe this is the start of a wonderful student-teacher platonic relationship, and I truly hope that in the future I can be her TA for her. But, it's still early. Who knows? I just know that she is practically my spirit animal and a woman I strive to maybe be. ... As a trans gay man ha!
