Birthday Week Blog!!!! 07/09-13/09

my birthday was on the 7th and I wanted to make a blog post about it but then i forgor. So now its a birthday week blog :3

ANYWAYS I had a lot of fun day of, my family and a friend went to the beach and then goodwill. I got a new sewing machine, a bunch of picture frames, FIFTY TWO CD-R's to burn, a bunch of cool new beads, and new books (Red Winter by Cameron Sullivan and Together We Burn by Isabel Ibañez, I haven't started reading either yet). Romance books aren't really my thing but it has dragons and its set in a medieval setting that ISN'T based in the usual northern europe setting, which is cool. 

When I was at goodwill, the cashier asked if I was working and I said no but i was looking, so he handed me a job application. I got super excited because I've been job searching since I was 17, filled it out in the car and immediately went back in... and then the next day when I called their store to check on my application they told me I just wasn't what they were looking for :(( i feel like it shouldn't be so upsetting to hear after how many times i've been turned down from jobs but oh well. 

We're also moving again soon!! I've been having to sleep in a LOFT that is essentially open to the living room below, but since my mom has experience remodeling and is halfway to getting her contractor's license, a family friend who lives in another state told us we can move into their house and remodel it so long as we make ourselves scarce when they come to visit every few years. Pretty exciting stuff, since I'll be getting my own room again.

On a sad note, my best friend from middle school reached out to me the day after my birthday. We were getting along, she seemed cool with me being trans, and we spent a few days talking..... and then she completely ghosted me. I reread through our conversations and I feel like it was going really well, the last thing we said was me ending the conversation by telling her I was going to bed and her saying she was excited to talk the next day but when i texted her in the morning she never responded despite being online all the time :/ 

Despite the shitty stuff I still had a great week for the most part. It was nice to get out and go to the beach, I used to go every day almost but life got hectic and I haven't been in months.
