hi!! this is js a collection of my personal reading guide to daredevil, it does skip a few things that i don't PERSONALLY like so it very much misses some stuff. but thats okay!!

this does skip MOST of the 1964 run because it's lowkey nothingburger at points, so it just includes the miller and nocenti runs because they are amazing
also i added guardian devil purely because it's important to the story. i don't really like guardian devil.
i also skipped zdarskys 2nd run (the red fist saga/daredevil (2022) because i fucking HATE it but it was somehow quite well received but i don't fucking care about popular opinion that run was dogshit and did a complete disservice to elektra natchios' entire character and she has not been the same since fuck you zdarsky (not actually i have high hopes for your avengers run this year i am very excited thank you) but still fuck you for fucking up elektra seriously

i also skipped ahmeds run/daredevil (2023) because that was even WORSE and it was not well received at all.
also i will say that daredevil (1964) #131 is p good reading, it's a major key so like obvi. but it's first appearance of bullseye !!! YAY

these r all just lil mini series i really liked. lowkey dd/punisher wasnt THAT good but i love blindspot/sam chung and he is IN THERE my goat so i added it. and dark nights is so underrated i love it

okay okay. "why are 3/5 of these not daredevil" BECAUSE they have matt murdock but DIFFERENT okay please here me out
1* this is mainly my e65 propaganda because i love this universe so much. but this is matt murdock but EVIL and hes fucking amazing (not a good person at all but thats not what matters okay) his first appearance is in issue #5 but it's seriously such a good run, INCLUDING spider-gwen 2015A but i didn't add that because matt isn't in it but you should still read it!!!
2/3* okay also somewhat propaganda but what the hell. this is girl matt(ea) murdock so like that in itself should convince you to read it. shes so fucking cool too like how can you actually take that bum and turn him into THAT. also these runs r just short and fun like seriously!! just give it a lil read, both can be easily read in one sitting!! mattea appears in spider-punk (2022) #3
also i WOULD say daredevil: cold day in hell because for whatever reason people love that run but i don't fw it much. i think i was turned off immediately because i hate the art so maybe i'm like biased... but that one is set in a future post-apocalypse type setting and you have old man matt so read if that sounds interesting to you but idk i didn't like it
ANYWAY all together ts is like 400+ issues so.... pick and choose. my FAVOURITE FAVOURITES YOU SHOULD READ are bolded + italic + underlined. i have read all these except some of nocentis run which i am getting thru currently and i'm lovin' it so far so that is my credentials
