live through this fan art

sooo i'm sure we all know this album right? it has one of my favorite covers of all time, it's so iconic. some people apparently don't know this, but the woman on the cover is actually a model, leilani bishop, not courtney love herself.

the photoshoot for the cover had some interesting outtakes, including a b&w image of leilani bishop in a car holding a bouquet of roses. sooo i decided to draw it in color like the album cover! it's not my best work b/c, omg, this face was so hard to draw, but i think it came out decently :3

if you somehow haven't heard this album you really should give it a listen, you should. it's so raw, and i think courtney love's perspective is an interesting change from kurt cobain or layne staley, especially if you're a feminist
