spacehey has been having a failing moderation system, along with that the site is uncared for (example: images and pfps dont work AGAIN, layouts havent been up for two years, last update was in 2025 december)

so here are some alternative myspace look-alikes! im gonna leave the sites down below and review them so stay tuned

At first, I was like "oh this site looks cute and promising." and then their money making tactic smacked me in the face. what do you mean i have to grind points or BUY points to decorate my profile? its like a mobile app meets a old-school aesthetic talking app. but hey, if youre into getting paid digital money for yapping to get cosmetics, this site is for you. aside from that, i think the site is dead too. there was some sort of global chat system, but there were only 3 people in it. 5/10, pretty site but i dont like grinding for simple cosmetics.

Bliish -

at first, this site didnt seem too promising to me. but as i started exploring its features, its kind of grown on me already. off the bat, some things are locked behind a permium rank thing, so that was one of my turn-offs. but its not as bad as any othersite, as it just blocks some cosmetic stuff. speaking about cosmetics, this site doesnt let you freely customize your profile like spacehey does so theres that. instead, it lets you pick from some customization options instead. but i have to say, the site isnt really like spacehey in the first place. its more like a really old social media site that feels like its the grand grand-grand-grandparent of twitter and facebook. the posting style is similar to that of twitter, and there are groups you can join like on facebook i suppose. aside from these, you can watch the 24/7 live TV, play old school video games, and talk in global or group chats, similar to y2social. honestly i would spend some more time on this site, but the scroller on my cursor is broken, and the site doesnt have any scrollers i can just drag with my mouse so its hard for me to get around lol. bliish is a solid 7/10 for me, just because theres a small paywall and that its not really a myspace look-alike.

FriendProject -

listen. i really tried to like this site, i really did. its basically another myspace lookalike, id say it makes a much better job at looking the least amount of modern possible. but, sadly, im either a nut brain or have a low attention span, because i could not figure out the layout coding for the hell of me. this might work for you if you dont want to make your own profile and just grab a premade layout, which you can from the layouts section, i like mashing up my own profile, like on spacehey. but this code i. really couldnt get . other than this, this is the exact same site as spacehey but like... with a couple more features i guess? i didnt really pay attention, because im more interested in customizing my profile. its slightly more confusing that spacehey, but it might be because im just so used to the layout of spacehey. there are ads on this site, but its fine with me as theyre pretty silent and off to the corner, to the point i can ignore them. honestly, im not sure if i can even rate this site since i couldnt really use it. i might try again sometime, but not today. ill just give it a 9/10

FriendRewind -

right off the bat, i need to get this out. you can paste your spacehey layout straight onto friendrewind. the moment i tested that, and my profile looked the exact same as the one here, i was already satisfied. im not sure if friendproject andfriend rewind are from the same developers because of the names, either way this is friendproject but the one issue i had with it resolved. friendrewind has a couple more things to do next to spacehey from what i can see, you can play some minigames, share videos, make art or music accounts to even share your own content. theres even a little status gimmick, where your status actually works like its own bulletin thing, im not sure how to explain it. a green flag is there is a crisis support on this site for the people that are suffering, so thats nice. if youre done with spacehey, friendrewind is for you. 10/10

Napochan.moe -

napoleon is just friendrewind with a couple extra things to do, really. theres not much to say. its the same exact layout, same mechanics, its just that you cant copy and paste your spacehey profile over, just carry over some small tidbits of it. and if you want to use the layouts from this site, you dont have many options. there seems to be a lack of layouts, there were only 10 pages of layouts with the tag "red"... other than that, this site lets you put gifs as your pfp and theres a global chat. if you didnt like friendrewind, you can try napochan. just because of the profile customization and lack of layouts, id give this site a 9/10

Bliish.space -

from the creators of bliish, its their own little myspace copy. honestly, its not as good as napochan or friendrewind. it isnt the first site i would reccomend to you if you wanted a spacehey alternative. bliish.space has its own layout coding system from what i can see, but atleast they have a tutorial for it on github! if you wanted to code your own layout, it would be easier to do so. theres also a lack of stuff to do on here, and a lack of skins(layouts). and instead of a bulletin system, theres a twitter-like feed system instead. personally, i dont prefer the feed over bulletins. but if you do, bliish.space is probably for you. your feed posts also have their own customization which is pretty cool. im rating bliish.space a 8/10

i, uh. thought this site would be retro. uhm... not really, its like a really weird version of twitter you'd see in a fever dream. im not like, even gonna try the app. deleting my account 1/10

Kamtape -

ok this site isnt even myspace-like, but i'd say its even cooler than that. its just like really old youtube, and the people posting on it are posting like its old youtube too!! i think its really cool and deserves to be on this list. its worth a check-out. 10/10

Neocities and Nekoweb -

ok so i know these are just websites for making your own web page, but if you like the html coding part of spacehey, you can just code your own web page in these two websites. im trying to get into html myself LOL
