...Then you have a responsibility for the potential crowd that your videos attract, who might, idk, take your translations as mostly correct or at least faithful to the songs' original messages? So wdym, you thought that translating the song as it is makes your translation sound too "rigid" so you just wrote entirely different lyrics in its place?! And marked the videos as "translations" and uploaded them anyway? These aren't translated covers or rewrites of the lyrics in another language my friend you're introducing them to the world as """translations""""!!!!! And your translated lyrics don't match up with the original melody anyway so idk why you even bothered. Maybe you should just work on accuracy before considering stuff like rhythm or aestheticism, ok??? "Well I changed some of it so that I could make the lines rhyme dk if you noticed." Oh I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I was too fucking distracted by the glaring mistakes and arrogant negligence in your fucking words to notice that your translation, which can't be sang to the melody anyway because the length doesn't match up, has a rhyme scheme! I'm sorry ok?? And btw the reason localization is used in translations is that it allows the meaning of the original text to be properly translated to readers/listeners who do not speak the original creator's language and thus may not get the connotations of the original word choices! It literally doesn't work or help in any way if your way of localization is entirely distorting the meaning so that the end result can roll slightly better off the tongue!
