Mao's program was on of the best programs I've ever seen, really. The step sequence is MAJESTIC, she skated flawlessly and the general vibe of the program is so smooth and elegant, even though the costume is so colorful, and she seems to have so much fun on the ice. Just perfect, she truly deserves this gold. On the other hand, there's Sasha, who skated a clean program, and she landed the first quad lutz in an international competition as a mother - and she's also the oldest person to have landed it. She showed that she still has the energy and determination that she had four years ago, and now she also has the experience, and she managed to get a silver on her first international competition after four years! I'm so happy for her, really. Kamilla, Anna and Veronika did some errors (especially Kamilla doing a 1A in the beginning instead of another jump, probably a double or a triple), but nothing major; Ami unfortunately fell on her 3A and generally seemed tired throughout the whole program. It's really a pity, she seems to have got better and matured so much in just a couple of months, she truly looks like a different skater. I can't wait to see a clean free skate in another competition!
