Short Malta travel blog

Sooo first day we visited the capital Valetta and walked around the city a bit. Other than dying from the extreme heat I felt amazed by the amount of fountains in the city(considering Malta doesn't have a natural water source other than the sea). We also visited the botanical garden and the aquarium. The garden was very nice, too bad we didn't stay a bit longer. For the aquarium..to be honest I expected a bit more.

Next two days we visited the famous blue lagoon and many cities(Rabat, Mdina) and their churches (which were absolutely stunning, again I'm sad we didn't stay a bit longer).

Other two days we just wandered around St.Julians: ate maltese and international food, walked around shopping malls, went to beaches and pools and I personally stayed away from the clubs.

For the food I don't have anything bad to say. The way Maltese spice food is very unique and interesting. The specialties I personally tried were the nougat candy, prickly pears, fried rabbit, fried dates (my favorites <33) and pasta with octopus and with swordfish.

In the nutshell: I enjoyed this trip, but if I would ever go to Malta again, I would go during winter. The heat was extreme and the hotel we were staying at was also...interesting to say at least.
