when she met elvis she was around the ages of 14-15 and he was like ten years older than her .at the first sight i said "omg she was so dumb for getting into a relationship at that age with a person who was ten years older than her" but if you look deep in it the sentence looks like the dumb thing!
why am i saying this? okay lets put her shoes on to understand better , you are a teenager girl and you finally get the chance to see your idol irl and you think he is somehow interested in you so for a teenager that didn't have a grown brain she chose to get in a relationship with her
