Today I’m continuing with “Ancient Detective”, a Chinese drama. I got tired of “Elementary”, and switched over to Viki. I really enjoy the light humor of the show mixed with a serious mysterious plot.
It’s a good thing I don’t need the whole subtitles, just some. My eyesight is declining again. I’m afraid I will be legally blind sometime in the next 5 years. I’m going to double down learning conversational languages, because I may not be able to read books anymore sometime soon.
But hey, silver lining! I’m sure the “ghost blows out the light” series has at least been converted to audio books, so if I learn enough conversational Chinese I will be able to enjoy them on audio, since the publisher and the author refuses to translate the books into other languages.
