Market for adopts? Or just freebies?

Do you think adoptables (buyable character designs) would have a remotely "stable" market? I doubt so but, why not ask. I know on Chicken Smoothie the adopt market is wayyy more populous since it kind of revolves around digital pets, but I just can't click with the site.

I'm sure freebies or other sort of non-payment obtainment methods would probably work better though! Like write, name, etc.-to-adopts. I'd find it fun to drop in some of my designs for others
