ill start by showing my top 4 saddest albums, all of these had me crying

specially "we had good times together, don't forget that" by sewerslvt, it just hits different knowing the context of angel's suicide, the last song "goodbye" is specially sad and had me crying for a while because of just how emotionally heavy it is, also it contains a real voice message from angel before her suicide :(

also listening to the 6 hours of "everywhere at the end of time" is one of the saddest experiences i have ever had, its just so emotionally heavy knowing its about mental decay plus i was in a bad headspace at that time, if yall didnt know i suffer with depression, yikes :(

and do i even have to explain "a crow looked at me", it was recorded right after mount eerie's wife passed away from pancreatic cancer, with her instruments and in the same room she passed away,

it also contains descriptions of his grief.

and iowa is just a period of time where slipknot was at its absolute lowest and members did self harm and drug abuse, it also contains real panic attacks, the most famous one of those was by dj sid wilson at the start of the song "515" where he just repeats die several times.
