A list of things I've had to deal with at my job in a grocery store

alternate title: everyone is stupid except for me

- a woman pitching a fit because she wasn't applicable for a 10% discount on the 12 packs of dried prunes she was trying to buy

- a woman walking up to me and asking with total sincerity if the kefir (a kind of fermented milk) she was holding would stay on her face or slide off (??)

- a man asking me 1 billion questions about sheeps milk and then walking away without buying anything

- water buffalo milk?

- powdered beets?

- stocking sauerkraut that had mold growing on the bottom of its box 

- a man asking me if we carried  a specific brand of chips while standing in the chip aisle with said brand of chips directly in front of us

- discovering mints still on the shelf that expired in 2025

- my co worker spilling prune juice over the cart i was working on 10 minutes before my shift ended

- a woman looking at me as if i had killed her newborn when i said we didn't have the kind of juice she wanted

- running into my best friends father who disowned him
