I go into something, someone, a stranger.
A stranger, one with a whole life before you, and a whole life after.
One who could live their whole life without you.
And you could live your whole life without them.
And strangers turn to friends, in the blink of an eye.
And soon enough your heart is stollen like a star fading from the sky.
And just like a sky, full of stars
Love is a beautiful thing, but it can leave a scar.
You know it’s not your fault, you know that they could never feel the same.
But somehow you always feel like the one to blame.
Because you are the one to blame, it was never their fault.
Just because you can’t live without them, doesn’t mean they need to not be able to live without you.
And that’s something I should learn to accept, but that’s not what I choose.
Because my heart is addicted, like a hard hard drug
His love is my drug, my serotonin, my dopamine.
And I wish I could live without him as he could live without me.
When he isn’t around, I wanna pull my hair out.
I wanna scream and shout, but I can never let it out.
Whenever he’s with me, when he’s all that I see
I get so happy, it’s all I wanna be.
I get so high, then I have to say goodbye, and it makes me want to cry.
Love is a dangerous thing, a dangerous drug.
All I need, is just one hug.
Just one touch, just one talk.
Just one feel, and just one love.
Just one day, and just one night.
Just one kiss, and just one cut.
Fuck not that, anything but that.
He’s in my head, I wish I was in his bed.
Did I do something wrong, or is it all in my head?
Whatever it is, I’m sure it’s my fault.
So I cut again, and wait to fall
Onto the floor, in so much pain, there’s no more strength that I can gain.
I tell myself, “maybe this is it”
“I did it again, I feel like shit”
“I just wanted one touch, one feel, one thing”
From the corner of my room I hear a “bing”
“It’s him, thank god” is what I said
I guess it was, just all in my head.
He said he thinks I need to be on something, and I think he’s right
Because everyday, is a fight for my life.
I love his drug, it’s all I need
All I want, and all I love.
I know he’ll never feel the same
But I so do wish, he would say my name
Say my name, with me in his arms
Kissing every one of my scars.
It may never happen, I know that it’s true
But I can’t stop thinking, about me and you
We went from something, someone, strangers.
Strangers with lives, before one another. And we may live lives, after each other.
Sometimes I wish, I had lived my life without you,
But I know that me wanting that, isn’t true.
Us strangers became friends, in the blink of our eyes.
And my heart was stollen, like a fading star in the sky.
And just like a sky, full of stars
Your love is a beautiful thing, but it may leave a scar.
Not that it’s significant, as there were already thousands.
If you see this, by any chance.
Just know I’d love, to hold your hand.
Hug me tightly, before you’re gone.
Kiss me slowly, up till dawn.
Your love is a dangerous drug.
But that doesn’t stop me, from giving you all of my love.
Tell me I’m beautiful, kiss the scars on my skin,
Tell me I’m pretty, cause I know I’ll never win,
Never win happiness, not without you
I’m so glad the life, I gave another shot
I got to be with you, whether I wanted to be or not.
