I've always believed that the smallest things can carry the biggest meanings.
For some people, a flower is just a flower. Something pretty to look at. Something you put in a vase, give to someone on a special occasion, or walk right past without giving it much thought. But I've never been able to look at flowers that way.
Flowers are my passion. But more than that, they hold a part of my heart.
There's something about flowers that I can't quite put into words. Maybe it's the way every flower is different, even when they grow right beside each other. Maybe it's the colors, the softness, or the way they can make an entire room feel different just by being there.
Or maybe it's because flowers remind me of life.Β
They grow, they bloom, they change, they eventually fade. And somehow, there's still something beautiful about every stage.
A flower doesn't have to bloom forever for its existence to matter. It can be here for a short amount of time and still leave behind something beautiful.
I think people can be like that too.
Sometimes someone can enter your life for a season, leave a memory behind, and still change you forever. Sometimes we experience things that hurt, but somehow, we grow from them. Sometimes we have to let go of something beautiful because its season has ended.
Flowers remind me of that.
I also love that flowers can speak when words can't.
A rose can say I love you.
A forget-me-not can say I remember you.
A sunflower can feel like hope.
Β And sometimes a bouquet can carry an entire story without saying a single word.
That's what makes flowers so emotional to me. They're not just beautiful, they're meaningful.
When I make a floral arrangement, I don't just see stems and petals. I see colors coming together. I see different personalities somehow becoming one beautiful thing. I think about what each flower represents and how it makes me feel.
Maybe that's why I notice flowers when other people don't.
I'll stop to look at one growing through a crack in the sidewalk. I'll notice a certain shade of purple in someone's garden. I'll get excited over a beautiful bouquet that someone else might walk right past.
Sometimes the most beautiful flowers are the ones with imperfections. The ones with a bent stem. The ones with a few damaged petals. The ones that are beginning to wilt. Because they're still beautiful. And that's what I love the most about flowers.
They remind me that something doesn't have to be perfect to be worthy of being loved, appreciated, or admired.
Flowers have taught me to slow down and appreciate the little things in life. To notice beauty where I might have otherwise looked past. To understand that some things are temporary and that doesn't make them any less important.
So yes, I love flowers.
I love arranging them. I love learning about them. I love their colors and their meanings. I love giving them to people and imagining the happiness they might bring. But when I say flowers are my passion, I mean something deeper than simply "I like flowers".
Flowers remind me of love. They remind me of loss. They remind me of growth, memories, and new beginnings. They remind me that life can be delicate and beautiful at the same time.
So, if you ever see me getting excited over a flower that you think is "just a flower", just know that I see something you don't.Β
I see a little piece of beauty in a world that isn't always beautiful.
I think I'll always be the girl who stops and smells the roses.
Because sometimes, the smallest things have the deepest meaning.

Wow that was beautiful Iβve never heard anyone describe flowers in such a passionate way and I LOVE it!! Letβs stop being afraid of loving what many might think is Β«sillyΒ» and go back to appreciating the small things. I love how you said that temporary things are important, I feel like a lot of people, including me tend forget that.
Thank you so much!!
