happy hobonichi day!

for those who know, september 1st marks hobonichi day. the day their 2027 planners are up for order. it opened at 10:00pm my time last night (the 31st) and I was ready.

but now I don't think I'll ever do a launch day order again.

the websites opened, had errors, crashed, stuck on pages loading

and before I knew it the things I wanted were out of stock.

then back in stock!

and out of stock again.

a kind soul on reddit posted about a highly desired weeks planner being available on amazon (ick), and I was able to get that order placed, though a higher cost than I had originally hoped.

I decided to ultimately get a new weeks and new A5 to try the avec style, scrap the correction tape, only get a few pens, no tools or storage for now

I went to bed thinking I wouldn't be getting my forever cover, one I was ready to commit to and use year after year. Akiko Mikayoshi's An Airport At Night.

this morning, I woke up, and after an unfruitful search at barnes & noble for a book my kid wants for his birthday, I went to look for that book on [sigh] amazon...

then I noticed...

back in stock, the cover. order placed! along with the pokemon ecology book and a drifloon plushie for pikku. he... doesn't know about drifloon's lore yet... ("• ᴗ •)

dream cover and weeks hobonichi are coming in! I ordered the avec books and pens on jetpens. I also ordered a new pencil for my husband. that order's processing. hopefully I get it by next week. the cover and weeks will be in by the end of this week.
