heya guys as you know I have my own domain bla bla you know
however before setting up with a proper email service I jerry-rigged an email stack with Cloudflare + Brevo. not the best idea if I wanna have a good reputation on my email.
so what I did is just... well, I outsourced it to an AWS server run by someone else lmaoooo actually it's just a regular email service as you'd expect.
so anyways my email can be found in my website if you wanna send some hellos there. don't be shy lol
yeah thats it for now, maybe i should move my non-real-life everything on there? i would only pay like ~$4 a year anyway, quite a bargain!
edit: duckduckgo email protection is a godsend, i only have to change the forwarding address to my symbion and voila!

Ever wonder just how those little pranksters manage to send e-mail messages that look like they're coming from the Prez himself? Would you like to send a prank message to your friend and keep your identity a secret? It's easy—here's how! (Type everything as indicated.)
1. Telnet to port 25 on some Internet site:
telnet <site.site.site> 25
2. Port 25 is where the SMTP (Simple Mail Transport Protocol) mail server lives. Your job is to fool the SMTP into thinking that you're another server. First, say hello and tell 'em where you are (not) from:
HELO <your.fake.domain>
3. Next, tease SMTP with a fake e-mail address ...
MAIL FROM:
<your.fake.name@your.fake.domain>
4. Now that you've introduced yourself, tell SMTP where you want to send your little note:
RCPT TO: <whoever.you.are.sending.it.to@their.domain>
5. Now, type DATA to let the SMTP server know that you've got a message coming.
6. That was easy! Now, the message:
From:
<your.fake.name@your.fake.domain>
To: <whoever>
<body of message here>
7. When you're done typing, put a period on a line by itself and hit return.
8. All done? Type QUIT to quit.
