Do you ever just find yourself doubting everything, especially in a time like this, when there doesn't seem to be much to be grateful for?
I just wanted to come on here to say that I have started noticing the little things that make me happy; for example, I have recently come to realize that my super awesome history teacher has the same music taste as me and even gave me some links to punk playlists that he's made. I've found myself seemingly in this little pocket of myself-happiness, thinking about little crafts I can do. I love collecting and drying plants that I know I can use in my day-to-day, or I know that I can eat. Today, I found out a way that I like to make tea so I can finally drink it. Although I failed to eat all three meals today, I still tried, and I still enjoyed my day. I am starting to help my little tomato plant that clearly needs help to survive. I joined the Student Council, like I've wanted to for five years, but I have always been too scared to run. And I am starting to get the energy and motivation to do what I need to do, especially to clean my room.
I hope you can start to notice things that you're grateful for, especially in a time like this when everything's going to shit. I hope you have a great rest of your day/night, and thank you SO MUCH for your time!

This piece is about my fellow gays and trans people who were killed, murdered, assaulted, and more. That's who each name is.
It was inspired by these two drawings:
